The String Beans were formed in 2014 by guitarists Chris Twigg and Jake Stentiford, with the vision to play a mixture of traditional gypsy jazz and modern rock/pop classics with a gypsy twist. So that’s what they did!

Northern England Gypsy Jazz Party Band

Having quickly made an impact on their local acoustic scene with their first live shows, the group have since expanded into a close team of amazing musician. Their music ranges a wide variety of styles and eras from rock to ska, funk to RnB but all with their own signature sound.

Known for their bespoke and improvised live shows, mixed with intricately arranged medleys. The String Beans are guaranteed to bring an energetic and unique performance that's not to be missed!
