We used AMV to source us a quality band for our wedding at Alnwick Castle and we booked Livewire.

They were simply amazing and finished what was a fantastic day for us both.

AMV were superb, listening to everything we needed and bending over backwards to accommodate every request and “change of mind”, even organising rehearsals for me, as I wanted to perform a song for my new wife with the band!

I can’t thank them enough and will recommend both AMV and Livewire to anyone who asks me if I know where to get a good live band.

Dear Mick & Andy,

In case you hadn’t guessed on the night, Amy and I were absolutely delighted with everything that you guys, the guys in Livewire and the Armstrong String Quartet did for our wedding. It was an absolutely superb day and we’ve had so many compliments on the music – particularly Livewire on the evening.

Everyone we’ve spoken to have said that the band was one of the best – if not THE best – they’ve ever seen at a wedding and I honestly don’t think our dance floor emptied once.

Karen absolutely NAILED our first dance and made it very memorable for me.

I really hope all the Livewire guys enjoyed themselves – Andy, you were absolutely superb on the night – and again, I’d just like to say a massive THANK YOU from both Mrs Coates and myself. You played a massive, positive part in making our day very memorable. I’ve had several comments about how people have never seen me dance so much, so you were obviously doing something right because I wasn’t even that drunk!

I booked Livewire through AMV Music for my mum’s 60^th and I am so glad I did, they absolutely made the party, they had all ages up and dancing and really got the party going.

My mum loves Lionel Richie and they managed to play and dedicate to her a Lionel song off the cuff without rehearsing it which by far was her best part of the day.

Each person at the party commented on how great they were and they were all right, Karen is an amazing singer and the band was fantastic. All in all a great day plus the weather held out for us to.

Thanks again to Mick and Livewire for making this a party to remember.

I was at the Hilton Hotel at Newcastle Airport last night for the first time with my partner and we had the privilege to hear the musician named Ken Mercer – I rang the hotel today to find out if he was a resident artist at the hotel and was informed to contact you – HE WAS AMAZING PURE TALENT- please let me know if he is at the Hilton each week – LOVED his music and his voice. Would love to see him regularly and want to return with friends please can you tell me if he is playing at the Hilton again I hope so!! Absolutely brilliant made our night!”

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say what a great night it turned out to be, the guys helped create a really great atmosphere for the event and I especially thought Karen Harding was fantastic !

The baby grand was a huge success and really looked well in the store, I think we should have one there all the time!

Mike and I (and my Mum) were at As You Like It on Friday night and saw Livewire…we thought they were fantastic, as you said, and we definitely want to book them for our wedding on 20th August. The female vocalist was very soulful and the guys voices were great, it will definitely give us a really wide choice for a playlist.
